Made for Mark. This pattern is: Classic Men’s V-Neck Vest 315. This was the smallest size and took only 2 skeins…I had 3 and had to use a little from the third skein to help mix up the stripes.

You can’t get much newer than that!
Here’s some new yarn to covet.
You might notice that all these colours don’t look like the usual colours that I pick. Well, you would be right. These hopefully will turn into presents for friends and family.
This one will be for me!

I will attempt to provide a link to view SOME of the photos that I took while in St. Andrews for KNIT EAST and some of the touristy things we did while there. This in no way represents all the photos, but the few I could get onto Flickr, before my monthly allotment was reached.

Here’s a couple to sample, if you don’t want to go to the link (although you would be missing out)
For those who attended the Market at Knit East, you might have picked up a free pattern that I was handing out…or rather Donna of Cricket Cove was handing out. It was for a very easy crochet wrap done in Fleece Artist NYONI. I will add the link here to the PDF so if you missed it, or can’t get into Cricket Cove store, you can still have it.

Ok knitters, get ready for the biggest event to hit the east coast of Canada for knitters! Held at the Algonquin hotel in St.Andrews “by the sea” in N.B. There will be big name teachers, speakers, fashion show, demonstrations and a huge market place. See you there Sept 30, Oct 1 and 2.
I will have several garments in the fashion show and be taking part in all the events. I will be accompanied by some very good friends, who are staying a little longer in beautiful St. Andrews to take in some of the sights and culture.
I am working on arranging a free pattern cupon to give out at the event, so look for me if you are going. I also have a handout pattern for a simple crochet shawl, that is very effective. See below:
I also have two more new patterns for Fondle Patterns:
I’ll be adding photos of the event after, so stay tuned!
